4. Remove loose dry residue

Sign the cleaning schedule and record any fault separately. A tick should confirm that the complete procedure was followed—not simply that someone wiped the outside. Supervisors should periodically observe the clean rather than relying only on completed paperwork.

A weekly check is not an invitation for staff to dismantle the appliance. It is a more deliberate inspection and deeper clean of the areas the manufacturer allows operators to access.
Inspect the coating under good light for scratches, blistering, chips or worn patches.
